Heidi Modesto
Professional Trainer
Heidi Modesto has had a love of horses her entire life. She began riding at the age of three, and started competing in the short stirrup divisions at the local shows by the time she was eight. She currently competes with her horse, Tucker, in jumpers and 3 day eventing. Heidi specializes in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. She also has dressage experience and believes that a strong emphasis on flatwork is important for all levels of riding. Heidi customizes every lesson to each horse and rider to help each student achieve his or her goals. She believes that good horsemanship is the key to a successful partnership with your horse and incorporates basic horse care and grooming into her lessons. Heidi continues her education by teaching alongside with other professionals in the area and likes to participate in clinics as often as she can. Heidi enjoys teaching at Hidden View Farm as it is a very inviting and family-friendly environment. She loves seeing people enjoying their time with their horses and the other riders at the farm. In her spare time Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband Nick, her two cats, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers!

Kathy Happ
Farm Owner
Kathy’s love for horses goes back to her childhood in Michigan where her older sister introduced her to the “world of horses” when she was just 5 years old. She started taking riding lessons when she was 8 and became a proud horse owner at age 15. She rode and showed throughout her teen years and into college but then had to sell her beloved horse before her Senior year of college to make room for the next chapter of life. Kathy returned to riding full time when her youngest child entered 1st grade. In her wildest dreams, she never imagined herself as a successful barn owner, but here she is the proud owner of Hidden View Farm as she revels in her empty nest years (3 amazing children off to college and beyond). You will have to stop by and meet her to find out the rest of the story and hear how her Extraordinary mare, Buttercup, led her to this magical property…

Kelly Doke
Barn Manager
Kelly has been riding and showing since she was very young, back in California. Kelly graduated with a degree in Equestrian Management from Stephen’s College in Missouri and made her way up to WIsconsin and has never left. Kelly lives in the house at the farm and is at our beckon call, however we do make sure she takes her days off and regular vacations to her favorite place on earth - Disney!! You will not find a more knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and conscientious barn manager (did I mention that she lives on the farm) in Wisconsin! The farm would not be what it is without Kelly! Did I also mention that there doesn’t seem to be anything she can’t repair - ok, not engines on the vehicles, but just about anything else :)

Cheyenne McDaniel
Trainer and Equine Massage Therapist/ Magna Wave Therapist
Cheyenne wears many hats here at the farm - trainer, chore staff, massage and Magna Wave therapist. Her enthusiasm for horses began when she was just 3 years old when she had the opportunity for some lessons. She has ridden both Western and English over the years but has settled with Hunter/Jumpers. She works mainly with our beginner clients and especially enjoys introducing children to the wonderful world of horses!! She earned her Equine Massage Certification in 2017 and WOW are we lucky to have her right here at our farm. All of our boarders and our school horses enjoy regular treatment from Cheyenne. Of course Cheyenne travels to other farms for massages and Magna Wave Therapy. You can contact her directly - Work Horse Muscle Therapy for an appointment.
